About Active Language
Tuesday, 22 February 2011

Dear ChiFRA member,
We at Active Language are delighted to be involved with the Chiclana Foreign Residents Association and are looking forward to playing an active part in the association.

We share many of the same values and beliefs as the association, especially regarding the promotion of good relations with other members of the community and encouraging integration into Spanish society.

Many people who move to the area may find it difficult to get to know well the people they live alongside. Finding work in a foreign country when you do not speak the language is difficult.  However, the very thing that you think holds you back might be the key to opening the door to a rewarding new career - the ability to speak English.

This information pack contains some information about our Trinity Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). You will find information about our full time and part time courses as well as a page on our course in teaching younger learners. Please do take a look at our website www.activelanguage.net  for more information or give us a call on 956 22 14 26; we’re only too pleased to help you decide if our courses are right for you.

Perhaps your best sources of information are the many graduates from our courses who live and work as teachers in the Cádiz area. I hope that if you ask around, you will find someone who knows us. Ask them about the experience and the future possibilities it holds. The answers you get are likely to reflect that the courses we offer are professional, challenging and a really good way to connect with the local community. The courses are rigorous and at the same time are immensely enjoyable leading to a thriving, rewarding and, perhaps even, inspiring community based career.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours, with very best regards
The team at Active Language
