Since the inaugural meeting to discuss the setting up of a Chiclana Branch of Age Concern was held on April 14th there have been a further two meetings with more interested parties coming forward at each meeting. The meetings are currently looking at the legal requirements and financial resources needed to set up a local branch of Age Concern.

Fundraising will soon become a key issue for the group so look out for events where you could help raise the money needed for your own Age Concern branch in Chiclana.

The potential is also being explored for setting up a "Good Neighbours" group that could, in the interim offer a befriending, shopping etc service.
