About 200 residents of the Janda ask the Parliament not to
demolish their homes
The residents of Palmar demanded the arrival of basic
services such as drinking water to their homes
A representation of the neighborhood groups of Los Caños,
Zahora and El Palmar, have accompanied members of the Platform of Affected by
irregular Housing of Conil (Pavic), who moved to the Parliament of Andalusia
along with several families affected by firm sentences of demolition.
In this way they tried to paralyze these demolition orders until they find a new house in which to stay, having to throw the house in which they usually reside on the ground. In that protest was also a representation of the Platform of Affected by the Irregular Housing of Palmar (Pavip), who demanded the supply of drinking water to their homes.
Sergio Cáceres, spokesman for the Cadiz Federation for the Regularization of Housing and Basic Services that has been generated in the region of La Janda, pointed out that there were almost 200 people concentrated before the regional institution, and that they had arrived in three buses and several private vehicles.
They moved to the doors of the Parliament of Andalusia with banners and where they read a manifesto, in which they have expressed their situation, and the possible solutions they demand from the Andalusian authorities to which they wanted to transfer the shortcomings detected in the Law List of the Junta and could solve the situation that many of the families who are seeing their homes endangered. For this neighborhood representative something is not working if irregular homes continue to be built without solving the situation of the houses that are already built.
