Things they are a changing. We are establishing a new committe for both ChiFRA and Age Concern with the secretary and Vice president remaining in post. Lesley Kew has agreed to carry out the roll of treasurer for both organisationsand I David Dransfield have volunteered to take over as President of ChiFRA. These changes were put to the vote of members and were ratified at our first meeting.
So as we all know Dave Fisher is retiring from his amazing and tireless work with ChiFRA and Age Concern, the Committees are merging with new members to continue in a different, but hopefully equally informative and helpful manner, to assist immigrants of all nationalities to integrate and enjoy to the full their Spanish lives here in the Chiclana area. The Pandemic has made us all re-evaluate our lives and the way we communicate, so with that in mind we hope to remain informative and helpful sharing knowledge and experiences with you all. There will be more posts and information once we have had a meeting to discuss the way forward for the two valuable organisations.
We are in the process of legalising the new committee with the Junta de Andalucía, Government Delegation of the Department of Justice, and the Interior in Cadiz. For us to registered on the Register of Associations in Andalucía.
David Fisher is also very kindly sharing with me the various networks and contacts that he has in relation to ChiFRA. David will be around for a few months yet so will act as a very valuable advisor to ChiFRA from his wealth of knowledge and experience.
