Hola a todos and bienvenidos to the new “Ask Charlie” column on the ChiFRA website! I’m new to Chiclana, arrived in August, and am here (hopefully) to help you learn Spanish.  

After a spell as an Export Trader and a degree in European Economics I re-trained as a languages teacher. I’ve spent five years teaching Spanish at a secondary school near York, three of those years as Head of Languages.

After marrying my Spanish boyfriend in July this year (he’s from Puerto Real), we decided to have a go at “living the dream” and move permanently to the home we bought in Chiclana back in 2005.  So far so good…. (I’ll keep you posted! J)
